The India Gate, located in New Delhi, is a 42-meter-high war memorial arch designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, inaugurated in 1933 to honor over 70,000 soldiers who died in World War I. Originally the All India War Memorial, it is a key national monument on Kartavya Path, also featuring the Amar Jawan Jyoti (Flame of the Immortal Soldier).
